Name

  • Byakuyo – Japanese for ‘white’ 白 and ‘petal’ 葉 in reference to the white blossoms of the Japanese plum tree.
  • Koubai – Japanese for ‘crimson’ 紅 and ‘plum’ 梅 referring to the deep red color of the fruits on the Japanese plum tree.
