Background
Prince of Ancula in the Land of Pirates.
He travels the ocean on his ship, serving as a pirate who protects the peace. Contrary to his appearance, he is quite the gentleman and accustomed to escorting women. He carries a strong devotion to his family, hunting for treasure for the sake of his mother. He is accompanied by a monkey named Bonita. He is a comrade of the other Prince of Ancula, Rosso, and is friends with the princes from the underwater kingdoms: Corail, Sarasa, and Orion.

- Douglas – from the English name ‘Douglas’ meaning ‘dark water’.
- Saint Gabriel – named for the archangel Gabriel.
- Ancula – from the Greek word ἄγκυρα (ánkyra) meaning ‘anchor’.
- Bonita – from the Spanish word bonita meaning beautiful.
