Background
A Prince of Kuyou, Land of the Calendar. He is of the Boar Family.
Though a male dancer, he is skilled in dances that are designed for women. He shows very little fluctuation in his emotions and constantly wears a near-emotionless expression. He can ascertain something’s true nature, but has very little self-awareness. He is often misunderstood based on the fact that he honestly speaks what is on his mind.
Introduction
You receive an invitation to the castle from Hanare after waking him. On the night that he invites you to watch him as he practices his dancing, you realize he’s unexpectedly mistaken about something…
Name
- Hanare – from hanare (離), one of the eight trigrams in I Ching that represents fire and the south.
- Kuyou – from the nine heavenly bodies (planets, sun, and moon) that are deified in Hindu astrology. Kuyou is translated from Japanese as meaning Navagraha, the cosmic influencers on life that are associated with the stars in the zodiac. They include the sun, moon (which actually has 3 deities), Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn.
