He is skilled at performing the sword dance with a pair of blades. He is a beautiful person with a great deal of charm, yet as he was raised in an environment where he was constantly competing with his siblings, he has a habit of speaking directly and using harsh words. He’s very wary and quick to anger, but he’s the foremost in his family when it comes to literary and military arts.

Name
- Yanagi – unknown, possibly from 柳 (yanagi), meaning willow.
- Kuyou – from the nine heavenly bodies (planets, sun, and moon) that are deified in Hindu astrology. Kuyou is translated from Japanese as meaning Navagraha, the cosmic influencers on life that are associated with the stars in the zodiac. They include the sun, moon (which actually has 3 deities), Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn.
