As the white snow falls and piles up in Hourai, the Land of Four Seasons, Toya shows Kalt around while he conducts an inspection. Ster arrives, having heard their wishes, but those wishes are something he cannot grant…-.

White snow drifted down from the sky above…-.

In Hourai, the Land of Four Seasons, they were greeting the coming of winter as Kalt conducted an inspection. Toya served as his guide, showing him the snowy landscape of the garden.

Kalt: “There’s a lot of snow… in this country too.”

Toya: “This time of year, it’s always like this. It’ll continue to accumulate too.”

Kalt: “I see… compared to my country, it’s quite calming…”

The two exchanged words with blank expressions, then another prince arrived along with the falling snow.

Toya: “And you are…?”

Ster: “My name is Ster, Prince of Meteobel. I heard your wish… that you want to laugh sincerely.”

Toya: “My wish…?”

Ster: “My family travels the world to grant people’s wishes. So, I want to grant your wish.”

At Ster’s proposal, Toya found himself at a loss for words and instead slowly shook his head.

Toya: “I appreciate the thought, but I cannot have you granting my wish. If I laugh, it will summon warm weather. Therefore I cannot laugh during the winter time.”

Ster: “…so that is the reason you cannot laugh.”

Kalt: “I kind of understand… because I also cannot express my emotions.”

Kalt slowly walked up beside Toya, who had a gloomy look about him.

Toya: “You as well?”

Kalt: “So that my power doesn’t go on a rampage… I spend much of my time alone. That’s why… I wanted to try talking with you.”

Toya: “I see… so that’s why you came to see me.”

Kalt: “…yes.”

Toya’s expression softened slightly, but then he frantically returned his face to neutrality.

Ster: “Both of you… also live at the whims of fate.”

Toya: “…eh?”

Ster: “The Royal Family of Meteobel possesses the power to grant wishes. However, I was born with a weak body, and do not have much of that power. However… even though I shouldn’t use my power, there are things I want to do that I only I can.”

Ster quietly raised his hand to the midday sky, summoning forth several streaking meteors.

Toya: “…amazing. I’ve never seen this many shooting stars.”

Kalt: “It’s the middle of the day… but they shine beautifully.”

Ster: “If I cannot grant your wish to laugh, then I at least want to give you both a feeling of calm.”

At Ster’s soft voice, Toya’s and Kalt’s expressions softened.

Toya: “I’d like to see them closer…”

Kalt: “In that case…”

Hearing Toya’s murmured words, Kalt spun his hand overhead and pulled in the surrounding snow, wrapping the three in shining silver crystals of snow.

Kalt: “Here we go…”

Surrounded by the snow, the three princes soared up into the sky.

Toya: “Wow… we’re flying!”

Ster: “This is my first time… riding the snow through the sky.”

They rose towards the sky while riding on the snow, and overhead they snatched the stars falling at midday.

 Toya: “They’re beautiful… though I can’t smile, I still feel happy.”

Many stars and snow crystals glittered in the sky, shining their tender glow on the hearts of three princes.
