Circo, the Land of Aspiration…-.
The four brothers who lead the circus troop were previously
given sweets as a gift from OO.
Welger: “Oh, wow! She said this lion cookie was hand-made.”
Drole: “It says here that it’s a gift for the ‘Day of Love’.
It seems like such a waste to eat them.”
Nero turned a cold look at his two brothers in their
innocent delight.
Nero: “Don’t look so happy about it. The ‘Day of Love’ is
something the grownups made up. It has nothing to do with us.”
Drole: “Huh? Then, we can’t eat the sweets?”
Nero: “Well…”
Morta: “It’s a simple gift with a hand-written letter from
her. We should be thankful and share it with the other children.”
Nero: “…well, if Brother Morta says its okay, then I guess
it’s fine. Anyway, we’re always the ones indebted to her. So… since this isn’t
just a normal day, I want to give her something in return.”
The brothers smiled slightly at Nero’s words, seeing as he
wasn’t being very honest with himself.
…
……
In the castle kitchen, various cooking appliances, utensils,
and ingredients were gathered up, and the lively voices of four princes wearing
aprons could be heard within…-.
Drole: “Brother Welger, we’re making something to pay OO
back, so be careful not to mess up.”
Welger: “Oh shut up! I’m not going to mess it up!”
Drole: “Ah, you liar. Brother Welger, how can you so quickly
spout nothing but lies?”
Welger: “I’m no liar…!”
Welger turned around
to respond, but seeing the contents of the bowl in Drole’s hands, his eyes went
wide.
Welger: “Hey, you’re giving THAT to OO!?”
Drole: “Oh no, this is for me. It’s my extra-spicy
chocolate… aah, it’s so spicey it makes my body tremble… delicious.”
Welger: “Don’t be in here making stuff for yourself. Geez,
you’re hopeless…”
Welger let out an exasperated sigh as he watched Drole lick
the chocolate he’d made for himself, his face alight with an expression of
rapture.
Morta: “Nero, would you try a bit of this for me?”
Nero: “…sure.”
With both hands occupied, Nero opened his mouth slightly and
Morta popped in a piece of chocolate he’d just finished making.
Morta: “Is it too sweet?”
Nero: “…no, it’s good. As expected of Brother Morta.”
Morta: “I’m sure your chocolate will be delicious too Nero.”
Drole: “Brother Nero, do you want some of my extra-spicey
chocolate?”
Nero: “Obviously not.”
Drole: “What about you Brother Morta?”
Morta: “Haha, I will have to decline as well.”
Beneath the warm light, the Circo Brothers spoke happily.
They continued making the chocolates to give to OO, each
with their own feelings in their hearts.
