Once, in a town known as the Emerald City, Oz, in the Land of Rainbows…-.
In the castle of this country’s prince, Oswald, a certain project was about to get under way.
Oswald: “Oh my~ thank you all for coming out for the cabinet minister’s wedding ceremony. I hope you’ll all lend a hand with this. First up…-“
And so the preparations for the wedding present began with Oswald at the center…-.
…
……
Leonie: “This vehicle thing is amazing Leeya!”
Leeya: “I saw it this one time in the Land of Film. Though, I did give it some major modifications.”
Thinpla: “Detected. The minister is ahead and boarding his carriage. En-route to the location of the ceremony, Main Street.”
Leeya drove the car, dashing down Main Street, with Oswald, Leonie, and Thinpla riding along.
Oswald: “Thinpla, is your instrument ready?”
Thinpla: “Affirmative.”
Oswald: “Alrighty then, let’s go! Fire!”
On Oswald’s cue, multicolored fireworks shot up into the sky, and a beautiful sound came from Thinpla’s instrument.
Leonie: “~~~!! It’s louder than I thought huh!? It’ll scare the chicks!”
The chicks gathered around Leonie and started to chirp sweetly, conveying their blessings.
Oswald: “Isn’t this great!?”
Minister: “Lord Oswald-! Thank you so much-!”
As the two in the carriage were greeted with a surprise parade, the minister waved his hand in response.
Leonie: “How nice, I wonder if I’ll ever get married like that…”
Leeya: “That depends on how hard you try, yeah? But first you should try to not be so scared at the sound of a bazooka.”
Leonie: “I-I’m not scared!”
Leeya: “Anyway, driving this car feels pretty good. When I’ve earned a ceremony, I’d want to have an even better car.”
Leeya ignored Leonie’s objections and cheerfully pressed down on the accelerator.
Thinpla: “Speed increasing. Leeya, please be careful.”
Leeya: “Got it. Wouldn’t want an accident to ruin this auspicious day.”
Thinpla: “Auspicious…is a wedding that important of an event?”
Leonie: “Don’t you want to have one Thinpla?”
Thinpla: “…I do not know. Half of my body is machine after all.”
Oswald: “It’s not decided that you can’t have a wedding if half of your body is a machine. If you want to get married Thinpla, then do it! A wedding is something you do of your own free will!”
Thinpla: “…at this moment I do not have the processing power to make that decision.”
Thinpla spoke quietly to himself as he stroked the chicks riding on his knee.
Oswald: “Haha, I hope you’ll make a decision later then!”
The princes continued their conversation as they made the flowers bloom around them, and the minister poked his head out of the carriage, looking defeated.
Minister: “…did you all actually come out to congratulate me on my wedding?”
As he grumbled to himself, the lively voices disappeared amidst the fireworks that soared overhead.
