Irogu, Land of the Fox Spirit…-.
As the crystallizing rain continued to fall, encasing all
living things in crystal, Sakia and Forma visited Irogu to investigate it
further.
Sakia: “The rain here too… Just like what’s happening in our
country, this crystallizing rain is made of the same unusual components…”
Koga: “Indeed… the rain doth fall often in this country, so
there was no great difference at the outset.”
Koga looked out from under the eaves of a building, seeing
the vegetation that had become coated in the turquoise crystals and let out a
sigh.
Saiga: “The rain of Irogu brings blessings upon the land,
but that too has now changed…”
Forma: “…”
Sakia: “Forma… are you alright…?”
Sakia spoke softly to Forma, who had remained silent and
lost in thought.
Forma: “…I can sense a faint negative emotion from the rain.
But at the same time, it’s intertwined with a deep feeling of sadness.”
Koga: “Hmm. It seems this is not an ordinary natural
disaster.”
As Forma had the ability to sense the feelings of others,
Koga pondered his words carefully and muttered to himself.
Then…
Saiga: “Elder Brother…! The rain…!”
At Saiga’s cry, the other princes looked up to the sky to
see rays of light breaking through the clouds.
Koga: “Hoh, well now…”
Saiga: “Elder Brother…”
Saiga reached out, attempting to stop his brother should he
try to step into the rain, but Koga calmly shook his head.
Koga: “It will be well. I simply wish to ascertain the truth
of this miracle for myself.”
At his words, Saiga’s
expression softened and he silently moved to stand beside Koga.
Koga: “All the living creatures who were touched by the
crystallizing rain are now also being touched by the warm light. Through all my
long years of life, tis my first time seeing such a sight.”
Saiga: “Indeed… mine as well. It truly is beautiful.”
Forma: “It’s like the world is being purified.”
Forma, who had grown pale under the onslaught of so much
negative emotion, was starting to look better, and Sakia smiled in relief.
Koga: “However…”
As Koga paused, Saiga turned to him.
Quietly, they looked at each other, both believing this
incident was far from over…-.
Saiga: “…I am certain things will be well. For in this
world, we support one another and have many a comrade.”
Koga: “Indeed… this is true.”
Sakia and Forma nodded to each other, as if agreeing with
Koga and Saiga.
As the princes looked up at the sky with clear eyes, they
focused on the bright future of the Dream World.
