Beneath the blue sky in Wondermere in the Land of Wonder, the princes had assembled at a wedding to watch over the bride and groom…-.
Hearts: “Oooh, they look so freaking happy…!”
In the rose garden managed by the royal family of the Trumpia Domain, Hearts’ tearful voice was as full of joy as if it were his own wedding.
Chrono: “Hearts, you can use this handkerchief.”
Hearts: “Uu… thanks Chrono.”
Between the two of them, Capita calmly adjusted his monocle.
Capita: “And somehow, I am being held between the two of you while you talk.”
Capita’s statement was mixed with a sigh, but Hearts didn’t seem to hear it as he frantically sniffed and cried…
Despite being exasperated, Capita looked kindly at Hearts.
Capita: “…but still. It’s good to be able to speak the feelings on your mind so honestly.”
Capita’s voice was soft as he spoke, and Chrono’s ears twitched in response.
Chrono: “Capita… yes, I think so too.”
After Chrono smiled slightly, Hearts turned his tearful eyes to the other two.
Hearts: “What are the two of you whispering about?”
Capita: “It’s nothing important.”
Capita averted his gaze as Hearts studied his expression.
Hearts followed the look and…
There he found an assortment of colorful cake pops.
Hearts: “Oh, these treats look pretty good. Chrono, I bet you’ll like these.”
Chrono: “They’re so round and cute! I want to try making some myself next time.”
Capita: “They truly are brightly colored confections.”
Chrono: “They’re kind of… like a bride’s dress. How lovely.”
Hearts: “A dress huh… then I like this dress!”
Chrono: “And I like this one.”
The two each selected a cake pop, all while Capita just stared at them.
Hearts: “Aren’t there any you like Capita? Just pick one you’d like the look of if it were a dress.”
Capita: “…I’m fine.”
Contrary to Capita’s words, his eyes seemed fixed on a cake pop with a blue dress motif.
Chrono: “Do you like this one?”
Capita: “That’s not it…”
Hearts: “What, so you do! If you don’t hurry, someone else will grab it! The plates are stacked with treats, but that won’t be the case for your future bride!”
Capita: “I know that.”
Capita looked down as if thinking something over, then he slowly looked up and took the blue cake pop.
Chrono, who had been watching the conversation, let out a sigh of relief… then his eyes fell on a single sheet of paper atop the table.
Chrono: “Huh? Something’s written here.”
Capita: “It says ‘Eat these while thinking of your future wedding day, and it will bring you happiness.’?”
Hearts: “Seriously!? Then I need to focus while I eat.”
As they each prepared themselves, one by one, they took a bite of their chosen cake pop.
And they imagined when that day would come.
