The full moon shote in the night sky on this, the night of the Harvest Festival…
The princes had created and finished a brand new picture book story for the children and were now spending some time as they pleased in the Winki Territory.
Lid: “I never thought I’d ever go inside a picture book… but it ended up being kind of fun.”
Gauche: “Hey. What’s with that face? It’s not over yet.”
Lullus: “Is there still some event planned?”
Droite: “Of course. There’s no way a Harvest Festival hosted by Gauche would end like this.”
Gauche: “Brother, why are you the one bragging? …I mean, you didn’t even help with the magic for the picture book…-“
Droite: “Hm? You say something Gauche?”
Gauche: “Never mind! Anyway, the Harvest Festival is still going so I’ll need all of your help!”
Gauche smiled boldly and snapped his fingers.
Suddenly, the whole area was enveloped in a strange light…
Lid: “Wha-what’s this!?”
The light finally faded and revealed that the prince’s clothes had changed to those they had worn as villains in the storybook.
Lullus: “This is… the costume for the evil wizard in ‘The Glass Slipper’?”
Lid: “I’ve got horns!? Does that mean I’m the villain in ‘The Devil of the Rose Garden’…?”
Gauche: “Precisely. I said it before right? That sometimes trying your hand at being the villain can be refreshing!”
Droite: “Tonight only is the group appearance of the villains. Let’s have the best night with this great prank!”
Lullus: “The villain… I see, that’s a novel idea. I’m excited.”
Gauche: “That flying pumpkin carriage you could summon was pretty cool too. I’ll show you plenty of magic, so show me some alchemy too!”
Lullus: “Alright. Then how about this?”
Lullus placed the crystal imbued with spirit power into his hand and brought forth a colorful ball of fairy fire.
Droite: “You’re pretty good! But I won’t lose!”
As Droite snapped his fingers, tendrils of bright light rose up around them.
The magic and alchemy weaving together was an amazing display, and the children burst into laughter.
Lid: “I don’t have any special skills like that but… since I’m a villain, what should I do?”
Gauche: “Don’t think about it too hard. Everyone should just look cool and have fun. Because the leaders of this year’s Harvest Festival are these children!”
Gauche soared up into the sky atop his broom and snapped his fingers again, and a raven came flying out of nowhere to land on Lid’s shoulder.
Lid: “Haha! This guy kinda seems like a demon’s familiar!”
Lid attempted to control the raven and the children’s voices rose in cheers.
Gauche: “OO and the others should be nearby, so lets see if we can add to our villains.”
Droite: “Yeah! We’re raising the curtain on the second act of the Oz Harvest Festival!”
Candy rained down from the sky and chocolate flowers bloomed on the roadside.
The laughter of the children and the kind villains would forever echo through the town.
