There wasn’t a lot of difficulty in translating Toni. He spoke semi-casually, we had the same interaction that we see with a lot of princes where he asks the main character to not use formal dialogue, but other than that he was pretty straight forward. The one thing I’ll note, and this is purely from my perspective, is that I went into Toni’s story expecting a pirate-esque setting based on the thief image, which I also assumed meant we’d see technological development on par with what you see in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I was a little surprised when, and this is in both routes, there is mention of an alarm system. So clearly, Toni’s country is more advanced than I had originally assumed. Am I looking too much into these kinds of things? Probably. I over-analyze the anime too, but that’s just how I roll!
